INTO THE WOODS

The hit Stephen Sondheim musical Into the Woods weaves together the fairy tales of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel, and an original story about a baker and his wife who cannot conceive a child. As the characters venture into the woods to fulfill their wishes, their actions have  unintended consequences which result in an unconventional perspective on the fairy tale genre. The musical explores themes of family, responsibility, and the consequences of one's actions.
